Tree Removal Sydney
For planned removal of a tree that no longer suits the property or needs to be addressed.
Family-owned tree services across Sydney
When a tree is crowding a roof, blocking access, dropping branches, taking over a garden or needs planned removal, you want a clear next step. Top Quality Tree Services helps Sydney homeowners, strata contacts and commercial property managers organise practical physical tree work.
We are a family-owned Sydney business with more than 20 years' experience. Tell us what is happening, where the tree sits and what it is affecting, and we will use those details to prepare a free quote for the work you need.
Our services
Every job below is a service we actually carry out. Pick the one that matches what you need, or tell us the problem and we will help you identify it.

For planned removal of a tree that no longer suits the property or needs to be addressed.

For targeted branch work where the tree can remain.

For tree-size reduction or clearance work where lopping is the right requested service.

For an unwanted stump that is in the way after tree work.

For planned palm-tree removal.

For hedge and shrub work that needs to be kept clear as its own service.

For branches, logs and tree material that needs to be included as separate work.

For gutter cleaning where leaves, branches or debris need attention.

For ongoing tree care and planned maintenance around your property.

For urgent tree problems, storm damage, fallen trees, hanging branches or blocked access, including emergency removal where needed.
Make sense of the work
This is the question we are asked most often, and you do not need to answer it before you contact us. It helps to know roughly what each one means, because the words get used interchangeably and they are three different jobs with three different quotes.
That is pruning. It suits a tree that is healthy enough to keep but has branches over a roof, across a driveway, into a neighbour's yard or growing where they are in the way. Tree pruning is targeted: specific branches, for a specific reason.
That is usually lopping. It suits a tree that has outgrown its position and needs height or spread reduced for clearance, rather than a few branches taken off.
That is removal. It suits a tree that is in the wrong place, is causing a problem that branch work will not solve, or has to make way for something else on the property. Removal and stump grinding are separate services, so tell us if you want the stump dealt with as well.
If you are not sure which of the three fits, describe what you can see and what you want to change. We will identify the service when we prepare the quote and tell you plainly if a smaller job would do the same thing.
Rules can vary by local council, the tree and the property. Check the current requirements with your own council if you are unsure. We do not decide council requirements or guarantee an approval outcome.

What we look at on site
We use the information you give us to understand the physical work around the property. The details below are the practical context behind a clear scope.

Its size, condition and the work you need.
Driveways, gates, side paths and site approach.
Roofs, boundaries, pools, paths and services.
Areas, structures and details around the work.
After the work
Tree work produces material, and where it ends up is a fair question to ask before you book anything. It is also one of the things people contact us about on its own — a pile of branches after a storm, timber left behind by someone else, or a garden clean-up that produced more than a bin will take.
Green waste removal is a service in its own right, not an assumption bolted onto every job. That means two things for you:
Tell us roughly what is there — branches, logs, cuttings, palm fronds, hedge trimmings — and whether it can be reached from a driveway or has to be carried out. That is usually enough for us to quote it.

Why people call us about tree work
We are a family-owned business and we have been doing this across Sydney for more than 20 years. That is the background. What people tell us actually matters on the day is simpler.
You get a straight answer about the work. If a smaller job would solve the problem, we will say so. If the thing you have asked for is not the thing you need, we would rather have that conversation before the quote than after it.
The scope is written down. Each service you ask for is listed in the quote, so you can see what is included and what is not.
We are fully insured. That applies to the work we carry out.
You are dealing with the same business the whole way through. Enquiry, quote and job are handled by us, not passed on.
We cover Sydney. Your suburb is useful information for planning the job; it is not a filter on whether we will come.
Clear reasons to choose us
Urgent tree problems
We provide 24/7 emergency tree services for genuine urgent tree problems — a fallen tree, a hanging or split limb, a tree blocking access, or storm damage that has made an area unsafe.
If that is your situation, keep clear of the area, keep children and pets away from it, and use our emergency tree services page or call us. We will confirm what has happened, where it is and what is affected. We do not promise an attendance time before we know the situation, the location and what is already underway.
Never approach a tree or branch that is on, near or tangled with powerlines, and never try to move large tree material yourself. If there is an immediate danger to life, contact emergency services first.
How a tree-work job comes together
Describe the tree, its location and the problem you have noticed. A branch near a driveway, a tree after wind, a stump blocking a plan or access that has become difficult are all useful starting points.
We use what you have told us, and a site visit where the job needs one, to work out how the job can be approached — the tree, the access, what is underneath and around it, and what else on the property has to be protected.
Ready to describe the job? Each requested service is stated in the quote. If you have asked for removal plus stump grinding, or pruning plus green-waste removal, each one is identified so nothing is assumed on either side.
We do the work that was quoted. If something on site turns out to be different from what was described, we talk to you about it rather than changing the job on our own.
Ready to describe the job?Customer reviews

“Have gone through other companies but this was the most efficient one. Easy to deal with, clean up and does a really good job! Would highly recommend them to everyone!”
What we need from you to quote it
A quote is only as good as the information behind it. You do not need technical language, and you do not need to diagnose anything. These are the details that let us answer properly the first time:
If something is unclear, say so. We would rather ask a question while preparing the quote than assume something about your property.
Areas we service across Sydney
We provide Sydney-wide service, including the Eastern Suburbs, North Shore and Upper North Shore, Inner West, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, the Hills District, South Sydney and St George, the Sutherland Shire and South-West Sydney.
Your suburb tells us where the work is. The tree, the service you need, what the work is near and how the site can be accessed tell us what the job actually involves — and those matter more to a quote than the suburb alone. We do not claim an office, depot or local crew in every suburb.

Yes. Tell us the property type, the work needed and how the site is accessed so we can understand the enquiry.
Pruning is targeted branch work on a tree that stays roughly the size it is. Lopping reduces the size of a tree, usually its height or spread, for clearance. They are separate services with separate quotes, and you do not need to choose between them before contacting us.
Yes. If the cutting is already done and only the material is left, ask for green waste removal on its own. Tell us roughly what is there and whether it can be reached from a driveway or has to be carried out.
